Going to hospital is not a great prompt to get your Will in place.
It’ll do, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a way to feel in control.
Sometimes people get in touch with me when their loved one is in hospital, and of course we help as much as we can.
Sometimes people are going in to hospital for an operation, and once they have a date in the diary (when things may not go as expected), they then want to prioritise their Will.
Whatever the nudge is, to make you want to get your Will and Lasting Powers of Attorney in place, respond to that nudge and make it happen. If the nudge is this article, take action and book an appointment with your local specialist professional.
