What are Relaxed Payments?

I talk about Relaxed Payments on social media, and sometimes people contact me to ask what I mean.

Those of you who have been reading my articles for some time, know that when people take action with Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), it’s music to my ears. It gives me joy.

However, I’ve become aware that these legal documents are something that many families have to budget for, and some people prefer not to go ahead with them, until the perfect moment, when they have plenty of time to consider the decisions that need to be made and when they can pay in one go.

Life is not always like that. Death certainly isn’t.

If you would benefit from spacing your payments out for your Will and LPAs, please find a specialist adviser who is able to agree a managed, respectful schedule of payments. Then get on with it.

And remember, if the payments don’t allow you to relax, they’re not relaxed payments.
