Getting married? Get a Will!
Why?
Because you no doubt want to make provision for your spouse.
And if you don’t want to make provision for your spouse, then it’s even more important to have your Will prepared professionally, so that you can make clear what your financial priorities are, on death.
The law ensures that if you get married, any old Will you made (unless it anticipates your marriage to this specific person) is cancelled. Your spouse, under the law, should get something. Sometimes everything, sometimes just a portion of what you have financially.
It’s worth getting things sorted just the way you want them.
Think of all the planning you put into your wedding day. Just a fraction of that time, gets you a good Will in place.
Don’t just think about it. Book your time in and make it happen.
